OK, you say you bought this notebook 2nd hand, so there's a SMALL possibility that the BT module is damaged or is not connected to the mainboard correctly.

This bluetooyh not a "package". The driver CD was not enclosed but I had that one already. I can insall the bluetooth stack and the bluetooth radio but when I click on the radio I get the error message "bluetooth is not ready' The device manager at first showed a port 'com64' for bluetooth but that has dissapeared.
