Isn't the IMultimix just a usb 1. Strikes me that if this driver really is any good, it might represent a better one to use with USB mics, which as we all know have been exceedingly troublesome I cannot speak too highly of their attitude and response, especially as the help was free and for an older device. The website about the driver says. This tool uses JavaScript and much of it will not work correctly without it enabled. The question is whether many of the devices on that list will actually be any more use with asio, as the list itself suggests.
The Tascam drivers were a product of this Ploytec usb-audio company. Correct Answers - 10 points. This commercial version costs money - presumably they have to pay a licence to Steinberg for asio, but there seems to be a downloadable demo.
But cant get a signal to AA3. The IMultimix doesn't feature in their list - I wonder what difference this makes? Their product is a full asio driver as opposed to the "wrapper" that is asio4all.
Please enter a title. My problems with the Tascam drivers were primarily that old versions were not being removed completely by the Tascam uninstaller.

Anyone have a clue as to what I could be doing wrong? I don't know how well the paid-for version would interface with the Alesis ssio, of course.

They responded immediately to my request for help, giving terse, but to the point, suggestions, which enabled me ,aya cure the problem. Please turn JavaScript back on and reload this page. You can not post a blank message.
Just for the record, when I had problems with a Tascam usb device, Tascam support failed to respond to two requests for help that I submitted. All I know is that the "Tascam" asio drivers are written by Ploytec, maa seem to have produced drivers for a large number of other respected companies.
