I have a similar problem with ich9r drivers and win 7 x The Software may include portions offered on terms in addition to those set out here, as set out in a license accompanying those portions. So my understanding is becoming this, Intel does not support drivers for my Raid Controller with a Windows Vista operating system. Just a suggestion, personally, i do not have any drives over 2tb. I learned very early on that the 6x4 stupid question is the one you don't ask! I have tried formatting as GPT disk, this seems to only allow GB as well with no ability to extend over. Did this many times in XP and several in vista with no issue, and before I got the raptor the array was the boot volume visa a lot of those.
